Description:
Created from found books, picked up during walks, Adam David Brown has altered these publications with reference to the notion of geological core samples. In physically boring through a cross section of found books, as though the books themselves were the source of some kind of epistemological accretion, he completes a conceptual transgression that challenges their function and repositions them as objects under investigation.
Please note that as these works are composed of found objects, some books show slight signs of wear.
